Job Description Job Description Distribution Coordinator Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Distribution Coordinator for a company based in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will have the opportunity to play a critical part in daily warehouse operations, working directly with customers, carriers, and warehouse leadership in a fast-paced distribution environment. This position is ideal for an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys taking on responsibility, leading teams, and driving continuous improvement. Pay Rate Competitive – Based on experience Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Distribution Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding order status, shipping updates, and issue resolution. Coordinate logistics and communicate with carriers to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. Prepare shipping documentation including packing slips, bills of lading, shipping labels, and international paperwork. Perform general warehouse duties such as receiving, cycle counts, packing, and maintaining housekeeping standards. Complete computer-based data entry related to shipping, inventory, planning, and KPI tracking. Support order quality control processes to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction. Participate in 5S initiatives, kaizen events, and continuous improvement activities. Work closely with warehouse leadership to support daily operational goals. Distribution Coordinator Qualifications and Requirements Minimum of 3 years of warehouse operations experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or coordinator role. Previous experience in a customer-facing role, shipping, and transportation coordination required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn warehouse POS and inventory systems. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a warehouse environment. Lean, continuous improvement, or kaizen experience preferred. Ability to work hands-on in a warehouse setting while managing administrative responsibilities.
