About the Role:
As a Dietary Aide (Food Service Support), you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department. You will work closely with our dietary staff to prepare and serve high-quality meals to our patients, while maintaining a clean and safe environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team, and to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients.
Responsibilities:
Assist with food preparation, serving, and cleaning up after meals
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining areas
Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies and equipment
Collaborate with dietary staff to ensure accurate menu planning and food preparation
Engage with patients and provide exceptional customer service
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality care
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in a food service or healthcare setting preferred
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
