General Sales Manager - Honda of Martinsburg

Join our team during an exciting new chapter as CMA's CDJR of Martinsburg transitions to CMA's Honda of Martinsburg on September 1! We're looking for an General Sales Manager to join our team. Candidates must have 5+ years of stable and progressive automotive sales management experience. 

This is a unique opportunity to join the dealership's leadership team during the development phase and play a key role in building a high-performing sales organization from the ground up. We are seeking professionals who have demonstrated success leading sales teams, driving results, developing talent, and creating exceptional customer experiences. 

As a Sales Leader at CMA , you will: 

• Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and provide coaching to improve team performance.
• Foster a customer-focused sales culture, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the finance and service departments to streamline the sales process.
• Manage inventory levels, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
• Recruit, train, and retain top sales talent.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor strategies.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of automotive sales management experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset. 
• Proficiency with CRM systems and dealership software (e.g., Dealertrack, CDK, VinSolutions). 
• A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals. 
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
