Insurance and Financial Services Position – State Farm Agent Team Member (Gilbert, AZ) Full Time • Gilbert – AZ Do you have aspirations to run your own business? You will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, home, and life insurance. Responsibilities Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service includes responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification. Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services. Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day. Qualifications Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas (preferred) Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in managing everyday risks, recovering from the unexpected, and realizing dreams Proactive problem‑solving skills Dedicated to customer service Experience with a variety of computer applications, particularly Windows Pride in getting work done accurately and timely Ability to work in a team environment Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the agent Ability to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews Ability to effectively relate to a customer Ability to execute a detailed business plan Ability to explain complex financial issues in understandable terms Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain) Life and Health license (must be able to obtain) Benefits Salary plus commission/bonus Paid time off (vacation and personal/sick days) Growth potential and opportunity for advancement within the agency Hiring bonus in the range of $1,000–$2,500 Compensation $30,000 – $40,000 per year. Our office is located in Gilbert at the NE corner of Higley & Ray. Office hours: Mon‑Fri 8:30 am‑5:00 pm; Sat 9:00 am‑noon. Our team has 5 members and 75 years of combined insurance experience. We have received numerous awards, including President’s Club, Chairman’s Circle, Ambassador Travel, Legion of Honor, Million Dollar Round Table, Senior Vice President’s Club, and Silver Scroll. Employment Details This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not a State Farm Insurance Company.
