I opened my agency in April 2024 after working as a State Farm team member, bringing firsthand experience into building a strong, performance-driven office. I attended the University of California Riverside, and outside of work I enjoy hiking, playing pickleball, and trying new restaurants. Our team has grown to six members, and we operate with a clear focus on teamwork, accountability, and winning together. Staying connected to the community is important to us, and were actively involved within local businesses and churches as part of that commitment. ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Joseph Lau - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. - Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
