Special Education Paraprofessional – $22/hr | Redding, CA
ProCare Therapy is hiring full-time Special Education Paraprofessionals in the Redding, California area.
We’re looking for dependable candidates who enjoy working directly with students with disabilities and are comfortable providing hands-on support within a Special Education environment.
Position Details
Pay: $22 per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday
School hours approximately 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
30-minute unpaid lunch
Full-time, on-site position
Weekly paychecks

Student Support
These positions primarily support students with moderate to severe disabilities who may require additional assistance throughout the school day.
Responsibilities may include:
Special Education classroom support
1:1 student assistance
Academic and instructional support
Behavioral support and redirection
Supporting classroom routines and transitions
Assisting with communication and social skills
Functional and daily living skills
Toileting and personal care when required
Encouraging student independence whenever appropriate
Who We're Looking For
Previous school experience is helpful, but we are open to candidates from other backgrounds working with children or individuals with disabilities.
Relevant experience may include:
Special Education or paraprofessional work
ABA or behavioral support
Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Caregiving
Autism and developmental disability programs
Childcare or youth programs
Residential or community-based services
1:1 support
Candidates should be patient, reliable, comfortable working with students with higher support needs, and able to follow direction from teachers and Special Education professionals.
