Learn more about who we are at Point32Health.Job SummaryThe Lead Financial Planning Analyst serves as the key administrative expense support person to a subset of all enterprise functional areas. Total administrative cost for these areas is $700M + and includes Operations, Information Technology, HealthCare Services, Chief Medical Office, Chief People Officer, Finance and Legal. The position will report to the Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis and provide business partner support and analysis. Assist with the annual expense planning and forecasting activities for corporate shared service functional administrative costs. Execute monthly close activities and conduct monthly expense reviews with leadership and act as the Finance partner for all financial matters.Job Description Key Responsibilities/Duties – what you will be doing (top five):Budget ManagementExecute the forecast and annual budgeting process and continually assess for areas of enhancementConduct Adaptative training as needed and ensure appropriate access for users (promote self-service).Identify and track monthly expense accrual and coordinate with AP and the accounting teamUnderstand business drivers for any variances by working with the business and use analytics to challenge, explain and project and impactAssist with close material preparation including the monthly SVP/ELT reporting and the monthly / quarterly meetings with leadership to review and discuss. Document financial processesBusiness PartnershipServe as the primary financial contact for the areas of responsibilityMonthly financial review meetings with key Directors and VPsItemize, budget and track budget and actuals for all critical vendorsFinancial AnalysisReview and validate budget impact for workforce planning position requestsReview and validate budget impact for vendor contractsAssist with verification of cost reduction initiatives Assist with ad hoc financial analysis projects as assignedTypes of projects may include (membership shifts, system consolidation, impacts of automation, etc.)Support Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis through Regulatory reporting and benchmarking exercisesService ExcellenceDemonstrate best in class business behaviorsCollaboration - Partner with Finance team and business partners to achieve results.
