Position Summary The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for daily shipping activities. This role works closely with warehouse, production, customer service, and logistics. Key Responsibilities Prepare and process shipping documents including bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels. Verify shipping quantities, product information, and customer orders for accuracy. Maintain shipping records and update logistics systems with shipment details. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations. Lead shipping staff in daily tasks. Assist with inventory control and reconciliation as it relates to shipping activities. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain coordination. Knowledge of shipping procedures, carrier services, and transportation documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with international shipping and customs documentation. Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and transportation regulations. Forklift experience (5+ years). Bilingual in English and Spanish Problem-solving Organization and planning Teamwork and collaboration Time management Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout a warehouse or distribution center environment. Occasionally lift and carry up to 25-50 pounds. Ability to use computers and office equipment for extended periods. Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures.
