Our client, a stable and growing Northshore company, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their accounting career in industry. The role offers exposure to financial reporting, account reconciliations, month-end close, general ledger accounting, and financial analysis, while working alongside an experienced accounting leadership team.
Whether you're currently in public accounting and looking to make the move into industry, or already working in a corporate accounting environment, this position offers strong growth potential and the opportunity to expand your responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end close
Support financial statement preparation and reporting
Analyze account activity and investigate variances
Maintain accurate general ledger records
Assist with audits and special projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
1+ years of accounting experience preferred
Strong Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities
Desire to learn and grow professionally
