Key Qualifications:

• Active, valid Special Education Teacher license (please include a copy with your application)
• Middle school experience, particularly with students requiring significant support, is highly valued
• Knowledge of IEP processes, adaptive curriculum, and effective behavior strategies
• Strong collaboration skills for working with educators and families
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction in core academic areas to a caseload of five students
• Craft, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each learner’s needs
• Partner with general education teachers and support staff to foster inclusive environments
• Engage with parents/guardians to update them on student progress and strategies
• Oversee student progress documentation and compliance with all regulatory standards
• Maintain a structured, positive classroom environment
• Uphold confidentiality at all times
