ICU RN – Surgical/Trauma/Burn/Transplant

Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Every other weekend

Assignment Details: 36 hours/week

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience
• Required: Trauma Level II experience
• Preferred: Surgical ICU, Trauma ICU, Burn ICU, Transplant ICU experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
• Clinical skills: ventilator management, arterial/central/PICC line care, titration of vasoactive drips, CRRT familiarity, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia recognition/management, blood product administration, chest tube assistance, trach care, wound/burn dressing experience, IV starts/maintenance

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU environment.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and medical data to assess the patient's condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about treatments and self-care post-discharge.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care activities.

Compliance / Notes:

• Strict credentialing deadline: Tuesday prior to start
• Required: Ohio fingerprinting
• Employment eligibility: current employees of the facility are ineligible
• Vaccines: Flu required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
