Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced registered nurses for night-shift dialysis and apheresis services, providing care across multiple medical-surgical, critical care, and specialized dialysis units. The role involves delivering comprehensive hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and apheresis treatments in a fast-paced environment with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Administer hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and apheresis treatments according to patient needs and protocols.
• Monitor patient vitals and telemetry during treatments, ensuring early detection of complications.
• Support patients during treatment in the hospital room or ICU beds, particularly those hemodynamically unstable.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide safe, patient-centered care and manage acute or chronic conditions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with hospital and regulatory policies.
• Perform procedures using Tablo Dialysis Devices, Baxter Amia PD Devices, and Spectra Optia Apheresis Devices.

Qualifications:

• Current active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in dialysis or critical care nursing.
• EPIC EMR system experience required.
• Ability to pass a compliance EKG exam within two attempts.
• Demonstrated knowledge of dialysis equipment such as Baxter Amia PD and Spectra Optia Apheresis devices.
• Must submit third-party education verification; no open legal cases permitted.
