Office Manager

Addison Group is partnering with a growing construction and industrial services organization seeking two Receptionist / Office Administrators to support expanding operations across multiple project locations. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, supporting employees throughout the onboarding process, and serving as a key administrative resource within a fast-paced office environment. The Receptionist / Office Administrator will support office operations, employee onboarding, front desk responsibilities, payroll administration, and general business support functions while working closely with both office and field personnel. Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required 2+ years of office administration, reception, onboarding, or related administrative experience required Experience supporting a fast-paced office environment while managing multiple responsibilities Basic Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and data entry Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable working in a construction, industrial, or blue‑collar environment Experience with payroll, accounts payable, purchasing, or employee onboarding preferred Experience supporting multi‑state or union workforces preferred Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP systems preferred Responsibilities: Manage employee onboarding and HR administrative processes for new hires across multiple states Serve as the primary front desk contact by greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and receiving deliveries Maintain office supplies, breakroom inventory, and general office organization Provide administrative support related to payroll documentation and employee records Coordinate office events, meetings, team lunches, and employee activities Perform electronic filing, data entry, and document management functions Support administrative needs across multiple project locations and remote teams Assist Accounts Payable and other departments during periods of increased workload or staff absences Occasionally travel between local office and project locations as needed (mileage reimbursed) Participate in employee training initiatives and onboarding programs once fully ramped up Maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned Additional Information: Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for long-term growth Opportunity to expand responsibilities into payroll, accounts payable, purchasing, and training functions Stable organization with long‑tenured leadership and strong internal support systems Business casual office environment Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
