Private Pay Collections Specialist

Private Pay Collections Specialist Northwest Respiratory Services is a leading provider of oxygen & respiratory products throughout the Midwest & Northern Rockies. Working from our Eagan, MN office, we are currently in search of a seasoned Private Pay Collections Specialist. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Work assigned reports, dashboards, and aging queues daily Manage AR of private pay accounts across all aging buckets (current, 30/60/90+ days) Within 24 hours (or otherwise timely manner): Make collection calls to patients and/or their families Respond to collection calls from patients and/or their families Identify correct responsible party, insurance and make corrections to invoices Work aged receivables Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies Meet individual and departmental goals Utilize Brightree software Benefits and Compensation: $20-$22 per hour Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Employer Paid Life Insurance Match 401k Eligibility on Day One of Employment FSA Account (Medical and/or Dependent) Pet Insurance Short Term and Long-Term Disability Accident, Hospital Indemnity, and Critical Illness Insurance Vacation, sick, and paid holidays Key Qualifications: 1-2 years of collections experience, preferably in DME/HME or medical Well versed in medical insurance and terminology Great communication skills written and verbal, contacting insurance carriers, facilities, patients, etc. Work individual feedback sessions, staff meetings, and annual training and/or competency tests We look forward to seeing your application and the opportunity to speak with you further!
