We are looking for a service-oriented Financial Aid Analyst/Specialist to support prospective students and their families in navigating funding options and eligibility requirements in Florida. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who combines strong communication skills with financial or accounting knowledge and enjoys working in a fast-paced, student-focused office environment. The person in this role will partner closely with the admissions team to deliver accurate guidance, resolve questions efficiently, and help create a positive enrollment experience during a high-volume season.

Responsibilities:
• Advise prospective students and their families on available financial aid programs, application steps, and eligibility guidelines.
• Respond to inquiries with professionalism and empathy, providing clear explanations of financial processes and required documentation.
• Collaborate with admissions staff to align financial aid support with the overall student enrollment journey.
• Review submitted information for completeness and accuracy, helping applicants move efficiently through the aid process.
• Maintain organized records and perform administrative follow-up related to student financial aid cases.
• Support a busy office environment by managing multiple student interactions and priorities throughout peak periods.
• Participate in a permanent, on-site schedule, including one extended day each week and one Saturday per month as needed.
• Contribute to departmental operations by assisting with process-related tasks and other financial aid support activities as assigned.• At least 2 years of experience in financial aid, student services, customer support, or a related administrative role.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and internal teams.
• Preferred background in accounting, finance, or other experience involving financial documentation and analysis.
• Ability to explain eligibility criteria and funding options in a clear, thorough, and supportive manner.
• Experience handling administrative responsibilities with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working in a permanent on-site office setting in Miramar, Florida.
• Able to manage a high-volume workload while maintaining responsiveness and a courteous approach.
