This role reports to the Reporting and Analysis Manager.Position SummaryThis role sits at the intersection of finance, strategy, and data, with a focus on understanding what is happening across key financial areas and why. The position is responsible for developing insights across major expense categories, building financial models, and supporting decision-making through clear, data-driven analysis. A key component of the role is identifying opportunities to streamline and scale analytical workflows through improved processes and automation. This position prioritizes exploratory analysis, deep dives, and financial storytelling over routine reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with stakeholders to define business questions, scope analyses, and translate needs into actionable analytical approachesAnalyze key financial categories (e.g., real estate, travel, technology investments) to identify trends, cost drivers, and optimization opportunitiesBuild and maintain financial models, including cash flow analysis, scenario planning, and forecastingStructure and execute analyses in ambiguous or open-ended problem spaces, forming hypotheses and defining methodologiesSynthesize complex financial and operational data into clear insights and recommendations for senior leadershipCommunicate findings through presentations, visualizations, and written reports tailored to internal clientsDrive process improvements by identifying and implementing automation opportunities across financial analysis and reporting workflowsCollaborate with Business Intelligence and data teams to scale reporting through dashboards and automated outputsQualificationsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor, and presentation with both internal and external clients, including executive levels.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently structure and execute analysesAdvanced financial modeling capabilities and a solid understanding of financial statements and cost driversAbility to distill complex data into clear, concise insights and business narrativesIntellectual curiosity with a focus on identifying root causes and drivers of performanceEffective communication skills, including experience presenting to senior stakeholdersAbility to operate effectively in ambiguous, evolving environmentsCollaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionallyRecognize confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information and maintain such information as confidentialBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required4+ years of experience, or 2–3 years with a relevant advanced degree, in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, or a similar analytical roleDemonstrated experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysisExperience analyzing cost structures or large expense categories preferred (e.g., real estate, travel, technology)Working knowledge of SQL or experience querying data is a plus.Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) or programming languages (e.g., R, Python) is a plus.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelApplies hands-on experience using generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms) to support professional and managerial tasks, including drafting, summarizing, brainstorming, and organizing content, while applying sound judgment when reviewing AI generated work product and maintaining accountability for all final outputsAbility to write effective prompts that clearly define objectives, provide relevant context, and guide AI tools to produce useful, accurate, and appropriate results; able to refine prompts to improve output quality, productivity, and efficiencyModels responsible AI use for team members, reinforcing expectations related to confidentiality, data privacy, and appropriate human oversightDemonstrates working knowledge of governance considerations, including ethical use and risk awareness, and adapts to emerging AI and related technologiesGT is an EEO employer with an inclusive workplace committed to merit-based consideration and review without regard to an individual's race, sex, or other protected characteristics and to the principles of non-discrimination on any protected basis.
