Groundskeeper - Seasonal NeededLocation: Champlain Valley School DistrictThis position will remain open until filled.The Champlain Valley School District (CVSD) is seeking seasonal groundskeepers to join our team starting immediately, with the position lasting through the end of October. This role is essential for maintaining the outdoor spaces and athletic facilities that support our students' activities and school pride. We are looking for a hardworking individual dedicated to keeping our district grounds safe, functional, and well-manicured.Primary ResponsibilitiesMaintain district grounds through regular mowing and weed whacking.Prepare and maintain sports fields for student athletics.Assist with various outdoor maintenance tasks across school locations in Williston, Hinesburg, Charlotte, and Shelburne.Support general district operations through seasonal grounds upkeep.The Ideal Candidate Will PossessPrevious groundskeeping experience is helpful, though we will provide training for the right candidate.Must be at least 18 years of age.Strong dependability and the ability to work the early morning shift (6:30 am start).Capacity to operate machinery and perform manual labor in various outdoor weather conditions.Please apply via SchoolSpring.This position offers an hourly rate based on qualifications and experience.
