???? Senior Labor & Employment Associate – AmLaw Firm (New York)
A leading national law firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group is seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate (6+ years) with a strong background in litigation, compliance, and employer counseling.
???? Key Responsibilities:
- Advise employers on federal, state, and local employment laws, including:
- Wage & hour
- Discrimination
- Harassment
- Retaliation
- Leave and accommodation issues
- Counsel clients on traditional labor matters such as:
- Collective bargaining negotiations
- Labor arbitrations
- Union-avoidance strategies and campaigns
- Labor-management relations
- Representation and unfair labor practice proceedings before the NLRB
- Manage agency investigations before the EEOC, DOL, and applicable state agencies
- Support employment litigation matters, including:
- Discovery
- Depositions
- Motion practice
- Draft employment policies, handbooks, and employment agreements
- Provide practical, business-focused solutions and strategic risk mitigation guidance
???? Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- 6+ years of labor & employment experience (law firm preferred)
- Admission to the New York Bar required
- Admission in NJ, PA, or CT is a plus
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Excellent analytical ability and sound judgment
- High emotional intelligence and client-facing maturity
- Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently
- Top academic credentials

Strong preference for candidates based in New York . Hybrid work policy currently in place.
???? Compensation:
- Salary Range: $305,000 – $345,000 (New York-based candidates)
- Compensation determined by experience, internal equity, and market data
