As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and document activities using computer or tablet tools. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur12:00 AM - 08:30 AMFri12:00 AM - 08:30 AMSat12:00 AM - 08:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare facility protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare facility, including entrances, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations. Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel. Assist with visitor directions, access control, and other security-related support needs while maintaining a professional presence. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
