Junior Business Analyst (Hybrid)

For more information, visit SolomonEdwards Solomon Edwards is immediately seeking a Junior Business Analyst on contract to hire basis for a company located in the King of Prussia, PA region. The Business Analyst will work 3 days onsite and 2 days remotely so local candidates to their King of Prussia office are required. The Junior Business Analyst will serve as a dedicated resource to the investment fund services department, supporting finance and operations initiatives through custom reporting, data reconciliation, file extract projects, and process improvement efforts. This role will help deliver solution- and product-based support that increases operational efficiency, improves accuracy, and mitigates operational and financial risk. Responsibilities of the Junior Business Analyst Project Delivery: Manage discrete finance and operations projects end-to-end including custom reporting, financial data reconciliation, and file extract initiatives ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope. Requirements & Documentation: Gather, document, and translate business and functional requirements into clear technical specifications that support finance and operations objectives. Process Improvement: Analyze existing operational and financial workflows to recommend and implement solutions that streamline processes and reduce risk. Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with Operations, Finance, Solutions, Product, and Development teams to align on priorities and move projects forward. Testing & Quality: Document UAT/acceptance test cases and perform UAT/acceptance testing to validate that solutions meet business and financial requirements. Enablement: Educate operations and finance teams on products, tools, and solutions to support adoption and sustainability beyond the engagement. Requirements of the Junior Business Analyst A minimum of 2 years of relevant and progressive experience in accounting and finance (internship experience preferred) BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university with an accounting/finance focus Ability to read, understand and provide input to financial statements and public filings Experience with Microsoft Office products (Copilot, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SQL, SharePoint, Dynamics, and willingness to learn SEI’s financial systems) Professional experience in wealth and investment management, investment processing, and technology or data-oriented businesses is a plus Analytical and diagnostic skills with the ability to analyze business and financial issues and decision options (preferred) Demonstrated ability to build relationships, act as a consultant, manage projects and drive the business forward Strong analytical skills Strong problem solver and proven ability to think creatively and seek optimum solutions Pay Range: $25hr to $27hr (depending on experience) Employment Type: Contract to Hire Location: King of Prussia, PA 19406 (Hybrid) Work Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training.
