Charge Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg | Night Shift | $36.50–$51.38/hr

Location: Claremont, New Hampshire
Facility: Valley Regional Hospital
Shift: Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Job Type: Direct Hire / Full-Time

Urgent Hiring – Charge RN (Med Surg)

Valley Regional Hospital is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg to join our dedicated nursing team in Claremont, New Hampshire .

This role is ideal for an experienced Med Surg RN with leadership experience who enjoys mentoring nurses and coordinating patient care in a collaborative hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for the Med Surg nursing unit during assigned shifts
• Supervise RNs, LPNs, and LNAs and delegate patient care appropriately
• Manage patient assignments and coordinate staff breaks
• Monitor patient status, labs, diagnostics, and treatment plans
• Communicate with physicians, pharmacy, lab, and radiology teams
• Mentor and support new nurses transitioning into practice
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers

Requirements

✔ Active New Hampshire RN License (required at submission)
✔ BLS Certification
✔ 3–5 years of clinical RN experience
✔ Charge RN experience preferred
✔ Strong leadership and communication skills
