Support Technician II – Brunswick / Mercury Marine Position Overview The Support Tech II role supports manufacturing by operating forklifts and lift trucks to deliver parts, replenish production lines, and maintain warehouse operations within the plant. Essential Functions Operate sit‑down and stand‑up forklifts, narrow‑aisle lift trucks, powered delivery carts, and manual lifting devices to support machining, coating, assembly, and shipping operations. Deliver large parts to production cells using a forklift. Deliver small parts to assembly lines using powered delivery carts or tow‑behind wagons. Receive, ship, and manage off‑site warehouse inventory. Maintain a clean, organized work area and participate in daily 5S+1 activities. Support quality and productivity activities as needed. Duties and Responsibilities Forklift Operators – Deliver large parts throughout Plant 15, follow safety rules, and utilize Mercury’s material replenishment system. Lineside Operators – Deliver small parts using carts and tow‑behind wagons, use Kanban and material replenishment system, and support lean methodology. Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse – Replenish parts from off‑site warehouses, manage shipping of excess parts, maintain internal delivery needs, and support communication systems. Support quality and productivity activities on an as‑needed basis. Experience and Skills Prior forklift experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Prior warehouse experience is a plus. General computer skills required; training will be provided. Experience with Kanban delivery system is a plus. Ability to operate material delivery equipment in a manufacturing environment. Compensation and Benefits Hourly rate: $26.49.
