Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Ludington region seeking Bookkeepers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidatesnot just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collection activities.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts monthly.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers in accordance with company policies.
• Prepare and post journal entries for various financial transactions.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in accounting or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel.
• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory costing and fixed asset management.
• Experience with payroll processing and related tax regulations.
