The Opportunity
We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Ludington region seeking Bookkeeper / Office Managers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and customer invoicing.
- Process payroll, ensuring accurate calculations and timely tax filings.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Maintain organized financial records and prepare reports for management review.
- Oversee general office operations, including ordering supplies and managing mail.
- Coordinate facility maintenance and serve as a point of contact for external vendors.
- Assist with human resources tasks, such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel files.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Demonstrated ability to manage office operations, including administrative support and supply management.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Familiarity with inventory management principles and cost accounting in manufacturing
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) for data analysis
- Certification in bookkeeping (e.g., CB, QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor)
- Experience with HRIS systems and basic HR administrative tasks
