Finance Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support the financial operations of our personal injury law firm. This role involves managing processing settlement disbursements, tracking case expenses, and assisting with accounts payable/receivable. Key Responsibilities Process invoices, payments, and expense reports Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies Track case costs, liens, and medical expenses Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Generate invoices and follow up on outstanding balances Assist with payroll processing and employee reimbursements Support month-end and year-end closing procedures Maintain accurate financial records and case-related documentation Prepare financial reports for partners and management Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial matters Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical) Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance Basic knowledge of accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Effective written and verbal communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Jeffrey S.
