Highlights Location: Hackensack, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Department/Unit: Emergency Department Schedule: Full-time, Night shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health. Perform age and disease‑specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patients. Develop and coordinate patient‑centered plans of care. Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Administer medications using advanced bar‑scanning technologies. Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes. Identify ethical issues and enhance patient satisfaction. Maintain competencies and certifications as required. Requirements Education: Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required; BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three years preferred. Experience: Six months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program. Licenses & Certifications: Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey required by date of hire. BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
