Director of Operations

Overview Our client is a growing, multi-generational wealth management practice seeking a Director of Operations to lead and scale their internal operations function. This individual will oversee day-to-day operations, develop and mentor the operations team, and drive efficiency across workflows, systems, and processes. This is a highly visible leadership role that partners closely with advisors to ensure a seamless client experience while building the infrastructure needed for continued growth. Responsibilities Lead and develop the operations team, including hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching Oversee daily operations, including workflow management, client requests, and operational compliance Build, refine, and implement SOPs to improve consistency, efficiency, and client satisfaction Partner with Lead Advisors on operational execution, including calendar management and task delegation Serve as the liaison between advisors and the operations team to ensure alignment and smooth execution Own practice management responsibilities, including workflow optimization and team productivity Manage HR-related functions, including payroll, benefits, compensation planning, and team events Stay current on industry updates, compliance changes, and internal platform updates Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement scalable solutions Support hiring efforts across the team, including job descriptions, interviews, and onboarding Qualifications 4+ years of operations or related experience (or 2+ years in a senior associate role) Proven experience hiring, developing, and leading team members Strong operational mindset with attention to detail and process improvement Experience within wealth management or financial services preferred Licenses preferred: Series 7, Series 63, and Life & Health Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally What Success Looks Like (Time Allocation) 50% Practice Management & Workflow Optimization 20% HR & Internal Operations 5% Direct Operational Tasks $90,000-$110,000 base salary plus bonus with a strong benefit package About the Company Our client is a high-growth wealth management firm serving over 500 high-net-worth clients nationwide.
