Forklift Operator
The Job Center is now hiring Forklift Drivers in the West Chester Area. This is a shipping and packaging company that deals with dog food and treats. Currently hiring full time employees for the 1st shift!
Compensation of Forklift Operator:
- 1st shift: $18 per hour
- Paid weekly on Fridays
- Benefits include: medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO
Schedule of Forklift Operator:
- 1st shift: 6am-2:30pm
- Weekend overtime as needed
Responsibilities of Forklift Operator:
- Operate stand-up and reach-truck forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Receive, unload, and put away incoming shipments and materials.
- Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trailers while verifying quantities and product condition.
- Use RF scanners or other warehouse equipment to track inventory and shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety procedures.
- Perform frequent lifting, standing, walking, and other general warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements of Forklift Operator:
- 6 months experience of operating equipment
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Good standing with Job Center
