Accounting Assistant

Our client, a well-established company is looking to hire an Accounting Assistant to start right away !
- Office Location: White Plains, NY
- Pay: 21-23/hr
- Provide administrative and data entry support to the Pension Team.
- Assist with preparing benefit estimates by entering and verifying information in Excel and internal systems.
- Review employee and pension data for accuracy and completeness.
- Update and maintain pension records using Excel spreadsheets and company databases.
- Input, organize, and track financial and participant information.
- Assist with reviewing pension-related documents and supporting calculations.
- Perform data validation to identify and correct discrepancies.
- Maintain organized electronic files and documentation.
- Support the team with reporting, spreadsheets, and other administrative projects as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of pension-related tasks.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data entry, sorting, filtering, and basic formulas.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Comfortable working with large amounts of data and repetitive tasks.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Previous office, administrative, accounting, or data entry experience is a plus but not required
