Client Representative

Department: Client Engagement, SLED Emerging Markets Reports To: Vice President of Client Engagement Location: Chicago,IL Type: Full-time Position Summary The Client Representative is responsible for driving new business development while expanding existing client relationships across State, Local, Education, and Government (SLED) markets. This hybrid hunter/farmer role partners with executive leadership, solution engineering, recruiting, and delivery teams to identify opportunities, develop client-focused solutions, and grow Krasan's consulting, staffing, technology, and managed services business. Key Responsibilities Develop new business opportunities within assigned SLED markets through networking, referrals, conferences, and strategic outreach. Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive leaders, procurement officials, agency directors, and key stakeholders. Grow existing accounts through strategic account planning, cross-selling, upselling, and identifying new Statements of Work (SOWs). Partner with Solution Engineering, Recruiting, Delivery, and Executive Leadership to develop solutions that align with client objectives. Support proposal development, RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, SOWs, and other procurement activities. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline by tracking opportunities, forecasts, client initiatives, procurement cycles, and funding opportunities within CRM. Represent Krasan at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Collaborate across teams to ensure exceptional client experience and long-term account success. Required Qualifications 5+ years of business development, account management, or technology consulting sales experience within the public sector, preferably State government. Proven track record of developing executive relationships and driving new business growth. Experience navigating State government procurement processes and identifying opportunities within SLED organizations. Strong consultative selling, communication, and relationship-building skills. Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue and business development goals. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience selling IT consulting, staffing, managed services, or digital transformation solutions. Knowledge of Midwest SLED markets and government procurement. Experience supporting RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and Statement of Work (SOW) development. Experience using CRM platforms to manage pipelines and forecasts. Why Join Krasan?
