Logistics Manager, Maximo

With a career at The Home Depot, you can be yourself and also be part of something bigger.Position Purpose:Manages the strategy, administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Maintenance Management platform, IBM Maximo. Partners with Supply Chain Maintenance, Technology, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams to ensure Maximo effectively supports asset management, work management, preventive maintenance, inventory, procurement, fleet maintenance, and maintenance reporting. Leads system enhancements, integrations, governance, and adoption to improve maintenance execution, asset reliability, data quality, and operational efficiency.Manages the strategy, operation, optimization, and continuous improvement of IBM Maximo supporting Supply Chain Maintenance and cross-functional business operations.Serves as the business owner and subject matter expert for Maximo, translating maintenance and asset management needs into scalable system solutions and a prioritized product roadmap.Partners with Technology, IBM, vendors, and implementation partners to design, test, implement, and support Maximo enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and new capabilities.Establishes governance and standards for maintenance processes and data, including assets, work orders, preventive maintenance, job plans, inventory, purchasing, and other critical master data.Identifies and implements opportunities to improve asset reliability, technician productivity, maintenance execution, parts management, cost visibility, and overall user experience through Maximo.Develops reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics to monitor system adoption, data quality, maintenance performance, and support data-driven operational and investment decisions.Leads Maximo change management, including testing, release readiness, process documentation, training, and adoption across Supply Chain Maintenance and cross-functional business teams.Provides leadership to analysts and manages cross-functional stakeholders, vendors, consultants, project priorities, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful execution of the Maximo roadmap.Key Responsibilities:Develops solutions that leverage the Company' s volumes, systems and partnerships while providing consistently high levels of customer service in a cost-effective manner.Identifies and prioritizes logistics needs and communicates recommendations to upper management in order to achieve efficient product distribution.Provides data and recommendations on product tracking, route analysis, rerouting, costing and usage alternatives.Advises IS and system users in the development and implementation of logistics systems improvements and changes.Responds to Requests for Information (RFI) from potential software vendors.Tests vendor software packages to identify potential shortcomings; ascertains vendors' ability to customize products to Home Depot specifications.Direct Manager/Direct Reports:Reports to Sr. Manager, Director Sr. Director or VP Typically requires interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive or controversial situations.Typically faces situations that are unstructured and require original approaches.Typically considers new courses of action within broad policies and medium-term goals when solving problems.Typically, once given general assignments, determines priorities and defines what should be done and how to do it.Travel Requirements:Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.Physical Requirements:Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds).Working Conditions:Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
