Shipping and Receiving Clerk

$19 - $22 per hour

Description:

This job posting is for West Chicago the suburb. Approximately 1 hour from the City of Chicago.

This position is on-site and the hours are 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday through Friday

We are looking for a person to work in our shipping department as well as operate an electric sit-down forklift to help with incoming deliveries, outgoing deliveries, and distributing raw material to CNC work stations.

Responsibilities

Receiving raw materials and recording them into our system
Transporting raw materials to CNC work stations
Staging raw materials for production operations
Loading finished goods onto trucks
Packing boxes with finished materials
Assisting with other shipping and receiving activities
Keeping your work area clean

Requirements:

Previous forklift experience required
Ability to stand for majority of shift
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures
Ability to safely operate equipment for extended periods

Compensation details: 19-22 Hourly Wage
