Shipping and Receiving ClerkThe Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for coordinating overall shipping and receiving duties for an assigned location.Duties & Essential Job Functions:Conduct shipping/receiving for shipping, including picking product, labeling, packaging product, and facilitating scheduling shipment using the routing guidelinesLoad and unload trucks, vans or other transportation vehicles with boxes or materialsEnsure compliance with customer specific requirements, including product identification, packaging, carriers, routing and billing requirementsEnsure the appropriate work environment organization, housekeeping and cleanlinessMaintain inventory management and assist with physical inventoryOther Functions and Responsibilities:This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position. Some requirements may exclude individuals who pose a direct threat or significant risk to the health and safety of themselves or other employees.Required Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent is requiredMinimum of 1 year of relevant experience in shipping/receiving in a manufacturing or distribution environmentPrior experience with forklift, issuing material, sheet destruction and vault issuance of materialsStrong oral and written communication skillsPositive attitude and teamwork mentalityUnderstanding and willingness to follow safety and quality control proceduresWillingness to work at least 40 hours per week plus occasional overtime as neededReliable transportation to and from workStrong planning, organizational and counting skills along with flexibility and the ability to make decisionsWillingness to take part in our background check and drug test processAbility to lift up to 50 pound boxesPhysical Requirements/Work Environment:Requires sitting at a desk in front of a computer screen for 8 or more hours per dayRequires visual acuity to operate a computer, read a computer screen, read policies and manualsRequires manual dexterity to operate a computer, phone, fax, scannerPay ranges from $18–$20/hour, based on the role, level, and shift.
