Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical laboratory tests across various domains such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to prescribed guidelines.
• Scrutinize test results for precision, address discrepancies, and ensure all lab equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
• Provide assistance in the collection of specimens, adequately preparing samples for analysis.
• Keep comprehensive records of procedures, mentor newcomers, and uphold the highest standards of laboratory quality.
• Ensure a safe and sterile work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be achieved within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification for the duration of your employment.
