Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of clinical laboratory tests across disciplines—chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more—following established protocols.
• Evaluate test results to ensure accuracy, analyze errors, and perform essential maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Document laboratory procedures in detail, instruct new team members or interns, and maintain high-quality standards in the lab.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Ongoing maintenance of current certification during employment is required.
