Commercial Applications Support Business Analyst - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Commercial Applications Support Business Analyst - Hybrid for a contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in Cleveland, OH. This is a 4+ month contract opportunity. Pay rate: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour The Commercial Application Support Business Analyst works under the guidance of leadership to analyze and improve operational support processes. This role involves identifying and implementing operational improvements, developing reporting and metrics, and supporting business-critical technology solutions. This position begins as fully onsite (5 days/week) and may transition to a hybrid schedule based on performance. Responsibilities Analyze operational or operational support processes to identify and implement improvement concepts Develop reporting and metrics to measure the performance and effectiveness of operational processes Support solutions for business-critical operational or technology issues, including root cause analysis and communication with stakeholders Mine data from primary and secondary sources using complex joins across multiple datasets Support projects involving application changes, upgrades, and issue remediation plans Partner with stakeholder groups to ensure work is effectively prioritized, planned, and tracked to completion Requirements 3+ years of relevant experience Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Attention to detail in documenting and implementing requirements Highly organized with the ability to thoroughly analyze and resolve issues Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong decision-making and analytical skills Strong aptitude for technology-based tools, Windows systems, software, and databases (e.g., Excel, Access) Experience in Excel and Jira with an ability to manage large data sets, creating summary views using pivot tables and data graphs/visualization Working knowledge of major production application systems Working knowledge of business data analysis techniques Ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner Benefits of Working with Genesis10 Access to hundreds of clients, most who have been working with Genesis10 for 5-20+ years.
