Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As an onsite Special Education Teacher, you’ll work closely with a self-contained elementary caseload, planning and delivering individualized instruction and interventions. Your expertise will help students achieve their academic and life skill goals and foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.

• Valid LBS1 and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Demonstrated experience working with elementary-aged students in special education
• Strong commitment to differentiated instruction and individualized learning plans
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Dedication to fostering a supportive, positive classroom community

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing, adapting, and implementing lesson plans targeting both academic and life skills
• Creating a safe and engaging classroom environment for all learners
• Collecting data and monitoring student progress toward IEP goals
• Collaborating with fellow educators, support staff, and families
• Providing direct instruction, behavioral support, and accommodations to meet students’ unique needs
• Participating in IEP meetings and maintaining effective documentation
