Growing together.The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible to the Center Administrator and provides appointment scheduling, patient registration, cashiering, answers incoming calls and performs other related clerical functions. This primary role provides front office support functions.Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PMLocation: 5150 Journal Center Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NMPrimary Responsibilities:Greets patients as they arrive and manage appropriate standard wait timesComplete check-in and check-out tasks to include patient demographic verification, insurance verification, complete pre-authorizations and/or precertification of procedures, and copy required documentsSupporting supportive care in front officeCollects co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles and issues receiptsAnswers phones and schedules appointmentsAnswer telephone calls, re-direct calls as appropriate, assist callers with questions or concerns, and take messages as neededManages medical records (maintains, files/scans, prepares for schedule)Ensures all correspondence is scanned and/or filed, processes requests for medical records release and maintains appropriate logs, etc.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the publicPerforms all other related duties as assignedWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? The hourly pay for this role will range from $18.00 to $32.00 per hour based on full-time employment.
