Key Responsibilities of the RN - Pediatric Hematology / Oncology

• Administer chemotherapy and manage central lines
• Provide comprehensive assessments and critical care for pediatric patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care
• Manage patient documentation and utilize Epic EMR system
• Float between Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Pediatric Adolescent Medicine units

Requirements of the RN - Pediatric Hematology / Oncology

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 1 year experience in pediatric hem/oncology acute care
• BLS and PALS certification, APHON chemo certification required
• Proficiency in central line management, chemo administration, and strong pediatric assessment skills
