Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Mid 3x12-Hour (15:00 - 03:00)
Weekends Required: Yes, 6 weekends per 6 weeks

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting. The ideal candidate will utilize their clinical skills to assess, triage, and provide treatment to patients suffering from various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and triage in line with established protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding treatment plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• Current ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications are required.
• Active and valid RN license required (compact license beneficial).
• Experience with Epic charting system is necessary.
