Formulations Manufacturing Manager

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Formulations Manufacturing Manager to lead pharmaceutical and diagnostic product manufacturing teams in Cincinnati. The role requires ensuring cGMP compliance, operational excellence, and quality standards while managing cross-functional initiatives and developing team capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage manufacturing teams to produce high-quality pharmaceutical and diagnostic products
• Ensure compliance with cGMP standards and regulatory requirements across operations
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing processes
• Conduct quality investigations, implement corrective actions, and support regulatory compliance documentation
• Develop team members' capabilities and foster a culture of safety, quality, and innovation

Requirements

• Advanced degree plus 6 years cGMP manufacturing experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 8 years in pharmaceutical/diagnostic manufacturing
• 3+ years demonstrated management or leadership experience supervising manufacturing teams
• Strong understanding of cGMP regulations, quality systems, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Experience with batch record review, change control processes, investigations, and CAPA implementation
• Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and quality management software
• Ability to work in cleanroom environments and comply with gowning requirements
• Physical capability to stand extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
