IT Support Specialist - Windows/M365 Support

Salary: $37,440 - 47,840 per year Requirements:

• Aptitude for troubleshooting Windows and Microsoft 365, with the ability and motivation to learn quickly.
• Familiarity with computer hardware, including PCs, printers, and peripherals.
• Basic knowledge of network and connectivity troubleshooting, including recognizing when an issue needs escalation.
• Strong communication skills when supporting clinical and administrative staff.
• Dependability and follow-through in handling support requests.
• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to clinic locations as needed.
• Comfort working with protected health information, or willingness to complete appropriate training.
• Ability to work onsite in Cottonwood Heights and travel to clinics as needed; the role is primarily onsite, especially during initial training and transition.

• Receive support requests by phone, email, and ticket; prioritize them, resolve issues, and document the work performed.
• Troubleshoot desktop and device issues, including software installation, hardware replacement, and configuration.
• Prepare equipment and accounts for new hires and remove access when employees leave.
• Support clinic workstations, printers, phones, tablets, and payment terminals.
• Provide first-line troubleshooting for Windows, Microsoft 365, devices, and basic network or connectivity issues.
• Travel to clinics for hardware replacements, installations, and issues that cannot be resolved remotely.
• Escalate complex systems, network, endpoint management, and infrastructure issues, and learn from their resolution.
• Maintain accurate asset records and document fixes for future reference.

We are recruiting for an IT Support Specialist on behalf of our client, which operates approximately 80 outpatient clinics that rely on dependable technology. The role provides first-line support to clinical and administrative teams in a multi-site environment using Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, endpoint management, and clinic networking. The position is based onsite in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, with travel to clinic locations as needed. It is projected to be a three-to-six-month contract, with potential for conversion. Compensation typically ranges from $18 to $23 per hour, depending on experience. We welcome candidates with help desk experience or certifications, as well as early-career applicants who are technically curious and dependable.
