Associate [Remote]

A leading global law firm is seeking a Secondaries-focused Associate to join its expanding Investment Funds practice, with opportunities available in New York, San Francisco, or Washington, D.C.

The ideal candidate will come from a V100 firm and bring at least two years of experience drafting and negotiating secondary transaction documents-including LP transfer agreements, continuation fund LPAs, side letters, and preferred equity arrangements-while also leading diligence across fund interests, portfolios, and GP-led restructurings.

Experience structuring transactions such as single-asset continuations, stapled primaries, tender offers, and co-investment syndications is essential, along with advising secondary buyers and sellers on pricing, market standards, and liquidity strategies. Broader exposure to fund formation and general investment funds work is also highly valued. The firm has seen notable growth within the secondaries space and continues to strengthen its team as it looks ahead to 2026.
