About the Position

We are seeking a Locum Urology Physician to provide primarily outpatient urology services with inpatient consultations, procedures & post operative rounding as needed in Potsdam, NY. Full time coverage is preferred, though two physicians working approximately two weeks per month each may be considered.

• Evaluate & treat adult urology patients
• Provide outpatient urology care
• Perform urologic procedures
• Provide inpatient consultations
• Conduct post operative rounding as needed
• Participate in 24 hour call coverage
• Manage bread & butter urology cases
• Provide patient follow up & ongoing management
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
• Collaborate with the existing clinical team

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Clinic operates Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM
• 24 hour call: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
• Full time coverage preferred
• Start Date: 10/05/2026

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Urology required
• Board Certification must be from the US
• Active New York medical license in hand required
• EPIC experience required
• BLS certification required
• Updated CV with complete work history
• No unexplained employment gaps of 30+ days
• Physician statement required for any malpractice history
