Patient Diagnoses: The ICU delivers care to critically ill and injured patients with a focus on trauma, cardiac, pulmonary, unstable post-op/post-partum patients and critical medical conditions. Diagnoses include but are not limited to cardiac, sepsis, pulmonary, surgical, renal, trauma, neurological and DKA.

Special Procedures/Unit Details: Central lines, bedside Bronch/endoscopy. Intubations A-lines, prone patients BIPAP/CPAP, High flow Insulin drips for DKA, high blood sugars and high triglycerides. Flolan - respiratory

Special Equipment: Procedural equipment #Tier2

Travel Compliance RTO: Keep RTO (Requests for Time Off) to a minimum, preferably no requests for time off in the first two weeks of the assignment, or for full calendar weeks off during assignment. Any RTO must be approved and documented prior to start of assignment.

Floating: Client agrees to float Aya Candidates in rotation with Client's staff and in accordance with Client's floating policies, as well as the clinical experiences of the Aya Candidate being asked to float. Client confirms that Client's policies on floating comply with current standards of The Joint Commission, including the provision of an appropriate orientation to the new unit.
