Summary

Kaiser Permanente - Washington Permanente Medical Group (WPMG) is seeking a 1.0 FTE Cardiology Physician Assistant to join our Cardiology team based in Olympia, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an integrated care delivery system that prioritizes evidence-based medicine, patient-centered care, and physician collaboration.


Position Highlights:

This is a multi-disciplinary practice involving the full breadth of Cardiology care. There is a team spirit of collaboration with an emphasis on continuous learning, education, quality improvement, and standardization of care and best practices. We have a full multi-disciplinary team of physicians, physician assistants, and robust support staff, including RNs and MAs.

Core Components of this position include:

• The primary role is evaluating and managing general cardiology patients in the outpatient setting at all points in the care continuum. This includes, but is not limited to, coronary artery disease, heart failure, a spectrum of arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter. This work will be accomplished with the support of cardiologists with expertise in these disease processes, including subspecialty expertise such as electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, and advanced heart failure.
• Conducting and interpreting treadmill stress tests.
• Electrophysiology pre and post op follow ups.
• No Call and no inpatient requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Range: $ 137,239 and $161,457 (salary will be prorated based on FTE, new hire salaries will be based on factors such as education, training and experience.)

Qualifications

• Required: NCCPA Certification
• Required: 2 years of experience practicing as a Certified Physician Assistant with experience caring for cardiac conditions.
• Preferred: Experience performing treadmill stress tests.
• Ability to obtain: Unrestricted Federal DEA
• Ability to obtain: WA State Medical License
