Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for cardiac patients following the nursing process.
- Collect relevant data, assess, analyze, and identify care issues; develop plans and implement interventions to achieve outcomes.
- Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe, healing environment; evaluate progress toward outcomes.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to various levels of assigned nursing staff; collaborate with the health care team.
- Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and safety.
- Communicate effectively with the treatment team and families to support patient-centered care and continuity of care.

Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice (Oregon)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from an approved vendor
- ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
- BSN preferred
- At least two years of recent experience in the field, with acute/cardiac care experience emphasized
- Ability to work night shift in an acute care setting

Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
