Key Qualifications & Requirements:
- Possess an active Colorado Teaching License (CDE)
- OT Endorsement required for this school-based role
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric environment is highly valued
- Ability to assess and deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to K-12 students
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and educational teams
Principal Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to support student participation and success
- Evaluate student needs and document progress in accordance with school and district standards
- Consult regularly with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care
- Provide hands-on therapy services onsite, with the opportunity to adapt strategies to meet diverse learning styles
- Support IEP development and attend meetings as a resource for educators and families
