Position Details Security Officer Armed - Shopping Center Patrol Location: San Antonio, TX Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Monday 09:00 AM - 04:45 PM; Friday 09:00 AM - 04:15 PM; Saturday 09:00 AM - 04:15 PM; Sunday 09:00 AM - 04:15 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help document suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or conditions that should be reported to management or public emergency responders. Prepare clear, detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate professionally with store personnel, visitors, and law enforcement when appropriate. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Level III Armed Security License is required in Texas only. CPR/First Aid is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
