Key Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to install, commission, start up, and debug packaging automation and robotic systems.
• Own projects from installation through final customer sign-off while serving as the on-site technical expert.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, controls, and programming issues in real time to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
• Work with PLCs, HMIs, automation controls, and robotics systems (FANUC experience preferred).
• Train customer teams on equipment operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and improve system performance and reliability.
• Serve as the bridge between customers and engineering while maintaining strong customer relationships and communication throughout projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in field service, industrial maintenance, automation, controls, or related technical environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities across electrical, mechanical, and automation systems.
• Experience working with PLCs (ladder logic), HMIs, and industrial automation controls.
• Ability to work independently in travel-based field environments while maintaining strong accountability and organization.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills with the ability to represent the company professionally on-site.
• Comfortable with extensive travel and working in manufacturing and industrial facility environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with FANUC robotics and robotic automation systems.
• Background supporting packaging automation, conveyor systems, or manufacturing equipment.
• Experience commissioning or troubleshooting high-speed automated production systems.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $25$50/hour DOE.
• On-Target Earnings (OTE) / Bonus Structure: Hourly role with overtime potential based on travel and project demands.
